It seems to be okay, especially given that it has enough room around it. How far is it from the back wall? Are there any vents or holes in the entertainment center?

My recommendation would be to keep the glass slid open when you know you will be playing for extended sessions, just to be on the safe side.

My advise will be to get the PS4 out of the cabinet. Get a official PS4 vertical stand and put it elsewhere other than the carpet!

Having your PS4 in that cabinet it will get hot very quickly, you will hear the fan noise spinning up like a mini jet engine. By the looks of it the cabinet there doesn't seem to be a back area which is open which can help with air circulation.

And if there are no holes in the back of that entertainment center, well, you can always make a few extra ones with a drill. The truth is that I would be a lot more worried about that X360 Elite you got there, those things get really hot, I know it because I owned one.

Forgot to add, purchase 4 erasers and place one under each corner of your console to raise it a little bit, that allows air to flow from underneath the console, plus it reduces the vibration generated by the fan when it operates.

That is going to greatly increase the operating temperatures of your console, not only is it going to deteriorate the internals of the system faster, it's going to use more electricity and spin up the fan RPM's to compensate, this will create more noise and also wear the fan out faster. For consoles you should always have them in an open entertainment center, those cabinets you have are designed for low power devices like Blu-Ray players, cable boxes etc.

This is what I am using, it's wide open so I have great airflow from all directions, I would look into something similar.

No doors for entertainment centers. It was bad in the days of VCR's, it's bad today

Looks like it would be ok but I dont see light from the back where wires come in. If the back is blocked off I would open the front or it will get hot in there.
