[PS4] Short session couch games

Hello folks!

I would like to play something together with my friend but this something gotta be short, 'cause we don't hang out every day. I googled the subject and most advised games are Diablo, Borderlands and Divinity. Obviousy, nothing of these is an option. As well as sports games. And pixel indies aren't ... preferable (don't call me shallow, I played Her Story and enjoyed it).

So, maybe you may advise me something? PvP or co-op PvE - this does not matter.

I second Rocket League, though you say "sports games" aren't an option. But it's exactly as you're describing otherwise so I guess it just comes down if you would consider it a sports game.

By "sports" I meant primarily FIFA, PES, etc. I guess, Rocket League will work for us.

Rocket League is an amazing couch game. You can load up and play in a minute. Games take a little over 5 minutes or so.

@wilmar: Little Big Planet :) My whole family loves to spend 30 minutes or so and have a fun together.

Perhaps a fighting game? Mortal Kombat X for example?
