That's good to hear. I was expecting something much worse after allthe "Fallout 3 will be broken on PS3!!!" threads that were popping up yesterday.

Meh I was always getting it for 360 anyway for the exclusive DLC so this doesn't really affect me at all.

Same here, frame rate is the most important graphical performance issue to me.

I will wait to hear peoples comments, but I may avoid this game simply because of low framerates. I know it sounds silly, but bad framerates kill the experience for me.

im so tired of hearing these reviews that say that just because of slightly different color textures and minor frame rate glitches make a game horrible compared to its other versions. It seems as though they have these little hissy fits over which one is better and bash on the other systems. To me, if the gameplay is good, thats all i need. These days, visuals in games won't be a big deal because almost all games now look pretty damn good.

Relax, and look at this -http://ps3.ign.com/articles/915/915082p1.html

An IGN PS3 preview. She played the game for a couple of hours, and said she didn't see any major flaws with the graphics or framerate. At least when NOT comparing it screen-by-screen.

So I'm not worried anymore, IGN seems pretty trustworthy.

Thats to bad, but I would never get a multi platform game for my ps3 over my 360 anyway.

Steady framerate is definitely important, what are you talking about?

the differences will be minor. I'd wait for more than just one source before we freak out anyways.

Agreed. The PS3 version of Oblivion was superior to the 360's, graphically speaking. Not sure what they screwed up this time.

Not that I have much faith in Bethesda's technical abilities anyway.

Steady framerates are definitely important that is why i got the ps3 in the first place because i have a crap computer. If a game doesnt have smooth framerates it kills it for me. But like atothezness looks arent too imporatant even though i like the best i can get pretty much all games look good these days.

Screw them, no takebacks. How the heck could they make a comment like that and not expect the interwebs to all explode simultaneously? I like their honesty though (assuming they aren't r-tards since they haven't even finished the 360 version), wonder if the general consensus from other review sites will be the same?

*Edit - WTF, NO TROPHIES?!?!

yeah I am still hyped for fallout 3 on the PS3... but this sentence from the article made me smile and even laugh.. "while you smugly inspect concrete textures" that sentence is epic on so many levels... :D

its not like we all didn't have our friends with the 360 version of Oblivion over when the PS3 version came out to gloat about seeing the individual bricks in every wall :P As long as it has a steady framerate i'm happy.

I always knew the differences would be minor, I sincerely doubt that they will make me enjoy the game less.

 well im not a polygon counter, :P as long as a games issues with graphics or framerate dont ruin the experience or take away form the gameplay than the problems are insignificant in my eyes.. :) Im not out to be a general in the system wars, as long as I get to play great games I am happy.

Agreed. I get way more bent out of shape when gameplay is broken as opposed to a texture not being 100% realistic.. I wont even acknowledge the graphics when a blatant headshot is not registered.. Or some A.I. is not attacking me when I am standing in front of it.. How can graphics matter more than that... Some people huh? :P
