Has anyone in Canada seen any PSN cards in Blockbuster in Canada? I really hope so.G-LegendI dont think they are sold in canada yet. did you check?
We better, this is rediculous. Im missing out on so many PSN titles. I was wondering if I put my debit card for credit card information if it would work.G-Legend
im not really sure about a debit card , it might work tho , try buying something or add $5 since thats the minimum price and see what you'll get .
Sony really needs to realise that Canada's a big market for them aswell, we don't have as many gamers as US ofcourse, we're only 1/10th the population, but in the gaming sector Sony has always had the biggest chunk of the console market share here in Canada (although that may have recently changed with wii - but i don't really like considering that, not that i'm a PS fanboy or anything or a nintendo hater, its just I don't see what the big deal is with it, and its a gaming console my sister wants ... my sister has hated gaming since its introduction with nes til now and i know that once she gets the wii she's never going to touch it, which goes to show, why the wii has so many sales, because there are so many non-gamers getting it, maybe i'm just a fan of real-hardcore gaming...) anyways my point is this: that sony should really work on maintaining their high level of market share here in Canada, because it will definately benefit them in the future.navstar29
ya man your so right , sony really need to give us more stuff here , and i really want the movie store *sigh* , this sucks, and i do know that there are a lot of gamers here , i mean i see so many students in my college playing psp's and a lot of them got ps3's too , so they really gota try and give us more stuff like the PSN cards
damn man... when will they come anyone know?? i think its in the states cus of the damm video store... hey and to put a more possative spin on this topic... what does my fellow canucks wish to purchase from psn? i was thinking along the lines of everyday shooter/ flow+expansion/ super star dust hd and warhawk expansions... just to get me started ^^;;Meko_Gear_Solid
I'd probably get Ratchet and Clank Future:Quest for Booty, The Last Guy or PAIN and possibly a Qore subscription for Betas and cool stuff. I would like to get Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection because I haven't played a Tekken game since, Tekken 3 in the arcades. But I'm kinda pisse, first the video store thing and now we don't even get PSN cards.
I was readin the PS Blog the other day going through comments, and apperently quite a few people called Blockbuster Customer service, and they said they had no plans to release in Canada till Mid-09. A possible reason is Canadian law >_>Marksman2200
Yeah Canadian law is ... pretty lame. The iTunes store had to release their movie and tv division later than the states, because of Can Law, the PSN Movie Store hasn't come out yet which I'm 98+% sure has to do with Can Law ...

I understand, but what does PSN cards have to do with Canadian Law? Doesn'tM$ have their XBL arcade cards here? Doesn't iTunes have their cards here? How long does it really take?

I honestly think Sony just forgot us, I don't see how Cards could be that much of an issue, they must realise how badly people want them here, but if they don't release them soon, then i'd just mark another one up to Canadian Law.
this sucks....
whats even more, is that canada STILL doesnt have that video store we were promised from e3!
