There are similar reports in another thread (the password no longer valid one), so it looks like it's down for lots of us. I've had numerous error codes now, latest being 80710092. I've also just found that http://uk.playstation.com/psn/ has "play station network partial availability" (in the top right hand corner) so I guess we'll just have to wait.
Same here, I've been online all morning and I was just about to f-ing rent a movie. SMH you'd think that they would have expected a rush in traffic after announcing all those games for the PSN + subbers.

It's 5/9/2012 at 11:23am and I'm also getting the error, I have tweeted @AskPlaystation and I suggest everyone else with the same issue also contacts them via twitter, the more they get the more chance we have of them fixing it sooner rather than later, esp when it affects some people and not others.

Yeah, I am getting error 80710092. This is crap, I just signed up for PS+ for the good deals and now I cant even get on. Oh well back to my 360 to play online.
All I want to do is stream from lovefilm why do I need to log into pn for that anyway? :evil: now Im gonna have to wire a pc to the tv or something... feel bad for any ps only gamers hoping to do some gaming atm.
