I am gonna get a PS3 in the middle of September and I was wondering would it be possible to make a user name now, and does PS3 allow to have more then one user name on one console, because I was gonna make one for me and one for my fiancee

Yes you can make it now and yes you can have more than one PSN account on the PS3.

When you first sign up for the Playstation Network through your PS3, be sure to choose "Use An Existing Account" and then enter your e-mail and password.

And yes, you can create a user, as well as a sub-account for your partner.

Yes you can on the Playstation website but make sure you really like your PSN ID because you can't change it.
