PSN is so slooooooow

I have no idea why but the last couple of days, PSN has been so slow. I bought a game and I've been trying to download it but it literally takes 5 mins for 1% so I end up cancelling. My ISP is running normal, fast net but PSN is the complete opposite. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yep the PSN does slow down at times. I love Playstation 3 and enjoy PSN. But sometimes it is very slow at times. maybe I just hit peak Dn times. Mostly their is no difficulties with PSN being slow.

I downloaded 3 demos the other day and they were lightning quick...

You might try downloading at a different time, like first thing in the morning. Might be less busy then.

Time of day is key for me. I don't even look at the store when it updates on most Tuesdays, as everyone under the sun is on there.

It's really getting annoying now. Some days I can't even connect to the PSN despite having Internet connection on all my devices including my PS3. It used to be perfectly smooth for me... Come on Sony

I agree 100%. PSN has not only been slow in downloading titiles, but also loading information like a friend list. I checked my Internet speed and I'm getting great speed + all my other dvices dowload normal.

I have only 30 friends and it takes forever for the whole list to load.

Looks like it isn't just me then. I gave it another shot, only this time at night which I managed to get it downloaded. Took an hour where usually it takes no more than 5 mins :|

It's taken me over a week to download Chains of Olympus (turning it on when I get home from work, turning it off when I go to bed). But I'm at 96% now so we're almost there.
