According to E3 press conference the movie service was supposed to be released July 15th, however whenever I sign into PSN store it doesn't give me the option to go to teh video store. It only says "Store Top". My question is, has the video store been released and if so how come I can't see it? I'm running Firmware 2.41.
Yeah, it makes me mad. I'm military and I can't always decide where I live. I got a PS3 in The States and then I get stationed in Japan (not a bad thing, mind you). But when I turn on XBL or PSN, it frustrates me to know of all these features that I can't access. I paid good money for the US PS3 (and 360) and I should be able to access content available to all US costomers.

Neither i believe -- you just need to access the PSN from the US ...
By confusing SONY's servers people have been able to access the video store from outside the US -- but havent been able to buy anything without a US credit card. (by confuse the servers i mean use a IP address coming from the US, and using proxy servers prevent PSN from tracing the IP outside of the US ... )
