Hi there everybody...
i live in lebanon (Middle East) and i have a ps3 which i bought from a gulf country about a year ago
it has been working on PSN all the time there but when i came 2 lebanon it didnt work at all!
NOTICE : its a NTSC-Jp version , so i was thinking that maybe because lebanon is a pal country , its PSN can't work on NTSC systems , and if so should i have 2 buy a new PAL one?
please, experts , HELP!!?

Having an NTSC machine in a PAL country *is* a problem, and contrary to what some people say, it has nothing to do with the region of PS3 discs. Â NTSC/PAL affects VCRs, TVs, etc. Â However, it is related to the video signal and has nothing to do with whether or not you can connect to the PSN. Â I've tried an NTSC machine in a PAL TV and, if I recall, the screen was completely jumbled up -- like "snow".
That doesn't seem to be your problem, so don't worry about it. Â BTW, NTSC/PAL is related to your country, but you can sometimes buy a TV that is not from your region. Â i.e., you might be able to find an NTSC TV in Lebanon. Â Or, a dual NTSC/PAL tv. Â It depends on the country (some sell it, others don't or cannot?).
