PSN signing off problem.

So, ever since last night, I've noticed that whenever I'm playing a non-online game, such as that Rag Doll Kung Fu, or MGS4, that it'll sign me out of PSN usually within 10 minutes of starting up the game. However, when I'm playing online, my only online game right now being Resistance, I'll get a network problem here and there, but nothing that signs me out of PSN, and beyond that no problems whatsoever. My question is, what could this problem be? It just signs me out of PSN, still can get on the internet and everything, and looking up the problem on other sites really didn't help me out that much.

Try disabling your Media Server Connection under your network settings. That usually works for alot of people.

I think that might have worked, haven't had a disconnect yet, but I really haven't tested it out yet.

I've been having the same problems , ill be playing Bioshock then suddenly I get disconnected from online. If im playing an online game like cod4 nothing happens. I can just sign back in but 5 to 10 minutes later ill get signed out if not playing online. I would like to know what the problem is aswel. Thanks in advance.

Try what Joe said. I did it, and so far, I've been disconnected once in probably 3 hours worth of play today. It really did help a lot.

You think you have it bad? Mine signs me out whenever I try and play any game, whether it be online or not. I've tried LittleBigPlanet, Unreal Tournament 3 and Rock Band, didn't work. Tried disabling the Media Server Connection, didn't work. Go back to the XMB, signs in. Start game again, signs out. Reset th- yeah, tried everything, doesn't work. It's connected to the router fine, and the router isn't playing up since my laptop is still connected.

EDIT: Somehow I can still bring up a list of running servers for UT3, It just doesn't connect to them. not sure if this is normal in the game or not.

My connection still disconnects but ive found this cool way to not disconnect , start a text chat with someone. Invite someone to ur text chat , talk to them once or twice and u shouldnt sign out.
