i would definitely be all for this....double the amount of games going on, probably easier to find games as well.
as for the comment about 360 users being more aggressive and annoying...ive encountered more annoying voices on 360, but thats mostly because not as many people during games on PSN...but either way i mute my mic because i cant stand 95% of the voices of users on either console.
It would be cool to actually work together for once, lol.Zidaneski
microsoft - software
sony - hardware
you'd think if they just thought about it then it wud be teh ubër console

microsoft is a software company, that was my point, also that sony is primarily a hardware company. i was saying if they worked together and both did what they do best then it would result in a much better console than either of their current products.
i would however voluntarily opt out of that community, i chose PS3 for many reasons, one of the key ones was the community. idk or care who is better gamers but i've noticed people on PS3 seem to be less agressive / less annoyingly high pitched (except for those who find the voice mod tool irresitble) and ultimately more friendly. i suppose it would be good though to be able to meet with my frinds who have 360 instead of a ps3.BushWacker69
I like the PSN community better than the XBL community for those reasons too, but I wonder how much of it has to do with a headset not being bundled in with the console? I think that's the only real difference, that and there are more American teenagers and preteens on LIVE than any other online service because thats the demog that MS penetrates.
that would be real console wars, would be really amazing.
imagine MAG in both consoles fighting each other for exclusives games.
we should sign a petition about this hahaha
Fitipali
That would be sweet. Which PS3 exclusive would you wager against Gears of War 2?

That would be sweet. Which PS3 exclusive would you trade to get Gears of War 2? Better not be Kratos... >|
Hahaha the war for FFXIII
i think Kratos would explode the xbox, too much for it
BTW nice topic TC, it's something i've been thinking for a while, thanks for bringing it up Kudos to youFitipali
ya thanks i always thought this would be really cool if it happened, to bad it never will

I've played MGO, Battlefield Bad Company(When I can get in a game), and Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3 and no one talks, which I think is because a lot of people dont have bluebooth headsets. But overall, I think that cross platform online play would be great. Its too bad that Sony and Microsoft would never be able to agree on something like that.
