*PS+ No, you can't go back and get what you missed out on. You only have access to what's available for download while you're subscribed. Yes, it's still worth it. I signed up for a year when it launched, and it's payed for itself four times over at least.I just got a PS3 after about 6-7 months, i had psn+ at launch, but now i am wondering is there anything new or is it still worth a purchase? and can i go back in time and get all the content i missed in last6 months for free?

I'm absolutely loaded with stuff.
Don't care when people say it's a scam I have well over a few hundred euro worth of awesome content.
I am not a subscirber but it is worth it. You pay $50 for the whole year. The way it has been so far, there has been at least one free PSN game a month that is worth $10 or more, so in 5 months time PS+ pays for itself. So that is 7 months of free games. You are saving $70. Sometimes they also throw in PS1 and PS mini games for free. The only catch is that you don't get to choose the game.
nope not worth it to me. i'm sure others feel differently. i just don't feel like spending $60/yr just to get "free" stuff.Batang_X990
It pays for itself in 5 months with a free $10 or more a month, you are getting at the very least 7 months of actual free games.

10 months really, cause if you sign up for a year you get 3 months for free... or a 15 month subscription.so far its been more worth it than i thought. reason why, i like buying alot of stuff from the psn store. avatars, themes, games. so if u shop a lot on the store, it will be even worth more for u. cuz u keep the avatars, themes and dlcs, u also keep certain games, like sam and max , i downloaded it and it has no expiration whatsoever. only certain games u have to be subscribed to, to still play them. so far i got 90bucks worth of stuff from PS+ , so in the end its really up to u and if u shop a lot from the store
P.S u also get access to all betas, if ur interested to play in the betas that is. u also get demos exclusive just for PS+ or get a demo for certain game sooner than ppl who arent PS+ members

That means people are getting $100 or more worth of free games not including free minis or ps1 classics. Even if I wasn't into a game, I would still get it because it's free. If I don't like it, I can just delete it.

That's exactly what I do. I keep more than I delete, and most of them are games I wouldn't have considered otherwise.nope not worth it to me. i'm sure others feel differently. i just don't feel like spending $60/yr just to get "free" stuff.Batang_X990Haha. Free in quotation marks. I see all the "smart" people doing that every time this is brought up. I get it, you're nobody's fool, your mama must be proud. Also worth noting the price is 50 bucks for a year and 3 months.
I would have never bought flying hamster, stackng, or digger, but have had a blast with these games. Digger brought me back to playing the original on a trash 80 circa '83. I feel $50 for 15 months was well worth it to me. I would have never bought spyro 2, but have been having fun playing it. At first I was like.. "Man these PS1 graphics seem super outdated, I remember when these spyro games were on top.." Next thing I know it's an hr later, I'm having a blast, and could care less about the graphics and jaggies. I plan on resubscribing to PSN+ when my membership is up. I just wish I would have gotten it earlier. I had read all the negative comments on here and had stayed away, but it seems well worth it to me.

Do you want minis, wallpapers, themes, and discounts on dlc? Then it may be worth it to you. I, unfortunately or not, care for none of that. The free games only last as long as you're subscribed.guynamedbilly
Are you really going to play a PSN game years down the road? a Retail game is one thing, but usually the PSN games are small. They are cool for a couple months and then you are kind of done with it. So if you get a game say now, are you really going to want to play that game again next January? That is why most games are $10. They are good a couple of months and then that is kind of it. Unless you are a hardcore collector I don't see the drawback to losing games you downloaded 10 months ago.
It's still a worthless service, as it was when it was released.
