Unfortunately this is likely to happen to all psps, after a while the analog stick keeps getting stuck when you ty to move it around and in the case of my old psp, when playing a game if I moved the analog stick right, I would keep moving to the right in the games I played even when I stooped moving the analog stick right, so I had to move the analog stick to the left to stop it moving to the right.

that happened to me too... for like a month... xD don't worry...

just move it around for like 10 min. and eventually it should snap back into place... oh yeah, also, don't try to twist the analog stick or anything, it'll just make it worse... give it time.

The contacts in the nub are probably dirty. Goto www.pspcrazy.com. They have a tutorial on how to open up your PSP (btw...it missed the screw on the edge). Then you can take the nub apart (it's just held together by a metal bracket) and clean the contact area on the circuit board. Reverse the process to put it back together. There's actually a Youtube video on how to totally disassemble the nub itself but you don't have to go that far.

THis happened to me too. And soon it will happen to allof you I bet. Mine got stuck up cuz of GTA VCS, so I had to keep moving it down. It also happened to my PS2 analogs. Which is even more annoying. Cuz I keep moving left and my right analog stick keeps moving forward :x

And if you can't fix it by opening it up and cleaning it, just grab a replacement
