I'm going to buy a PSP before I go on vacation in July. I just don't want to buy one and then have the price drop after all the NGP announcements at E3 and stuff. Should I buy now or wait a month and see?

E3 is less than a month, Sony's conference is actually after a bit more than a week. If you wanna wait then do so, it ain't gonna be long. However, PSP just had a price cut recently so I wouldn't hold my breath, but then again it's better to be sure and you ain't losing nothing, just few more days of waiting.

I just bought a psp like a week ago. I checked my local bestbuy, toysrus, walmart, and micro center and they were all sold out. I ended up buying it at gamestop. I don't think their will be another price cut but who knows. Good luck!

Yeah, I'm gonna call bullcrap on that one. I've never been to a store sold out on PSP's. TC, you're safe. You can buy one now or wait until after E3. I would think there would be a price drop as well, since E3 is where the NGP is gonna get most of its fire.

You should really shop around, i bought mine from zellers on sale for only $99. Most of the time certain shops knock $40-$50 dollers off, i saw the metal gear bundle for cheap in toys r us not long ago. You could wait until after E3, it's not long now so there maybe a permanent price drop.

The PSP dropped from $170 to $130 at the end of February. Don't expect another pricedrop until next year or when the NGP is out. One bundle was announced last week, priced at $160. I'd suggest waiting for a random sale on it. Some bundles were $130 at the beginning of the year, if I'm not mistaken, and some stores even dropped them down to as low as $100. Cheapassgamer.com does a good job of showing all the good deals on games and consoles, so check the site daily for any news.

Call any of the places I went to and see if they have them in store if you don't believe me. I have no reason to lie about them not having a psp lol.

No, I wasn't trying to be offensive. Sorry about that. I'm just saying I've never seen a store sold out on PSP's.

Same here in Central Illinois. Both Wal Marts in town sold out. Best Buy and Target sold out as well.

Do you want to buy a new one or used? Ebay and Craigslist have some nice, cheap PSPs you can buy. I don't think the PSP will have a price drop anytime soon because it just had one.

At Best Buy in Canada, they have the so called Father's Day bundle for $129.99 - Grand Turismo and MLB 11 and 2GB card. Pity it didn't come with better games but that's the same price Future Shop is selling the barebones unit.

They just might do a final price drop on the PSP Go. It is disscontinued in Japan and Europe. But it is still on the market in North America. So before the remaining stocks are gone one last PSP go price drop. (maybe)
