So I was thinking about getting a PSP, but I don't really know much about all the "extra features." I know you can do quite a bit with them like music and videos and such, but how does it all work? Can it play in mp3 and aac files? How do you get get downloads from your PS3 to PSP?

Are there any other "cool" features that you use your PSP for?

If anyone could provide me with an FAQ link or something that would be great. If you want to explain yourself feel free to do that too.

The features that the PSP provides when you first get are a music player, which suports mp3's and aac's, a video player, but you have to download the video's from your PC first then transfer them to your PSP, you can view pictures on it, and go on to the internet. Newer features that cae out that are available through firmware updates are a interent player and search feature and Skype. New features that are coming out are a GPS, camera, and messenger.

To access the features already on your PSP, its as easy as transfering the media from your PC to your PC via USB, then just going to that section on your PSP's XMB. features from firmware updates can be obtained by updating your PSP with any firmware that includes that feature (just download the newsest one.) the newer features that are coming out like the camera have to bought then attatched to your PSP (after that I'm not sure)

That's all the features I can think of, hope this helped. Check out sony's PSP site to find out how to put media on your PSP.

Definitely helped. I actually just bought one today. I can't wait to get in and start playing around with everything. Can I download the firmware updates wirelessly?

It starts with an H, and then has a B,
It multiplies the features quite infinitely.

But I can't tell you about it.
