PSP Faceplate help.

So I was trying to remove scratches from my faceplate, I looked it up on the internet and most people said if you use Brasso on the faceplate it would remove all of the scratches, so I did this and basically it messed up the faceplate. My whole screen has rainbow colored lines all over it. Is there anyway to fix it? If not, will Sony replace my faceplate? My PSP is still under warrenty.

Buy a new faceplate.
