i hate it when people say the psp is a failure. it has sold 20mill that pretty good for a year and a 1/2. was the xbox and gamecube a failure no they wernt. look how simular it is. xbox sold almost 25mill and gc almost sold 25mill the ps2 is well over 100mill. the psp to ds is 20mill to 35mill which is a lot closer then gc and xbox were to the ps2. also why do people always hate on the sony things you never see people wate on the gc or xbox.
The only reason people see the PSP as a failure is because they are comparing it to the PS2. The PS2 sold so well for so long, people's expectations for Sony's next project were pretty high. Same goes for the PS3.
It kind of reminds me of Fable. Fable was SO overhyped, so when it came out, a lot of people were very disappointed. Fable was an awesome game, the PSP is a great system, but neither were quite as good as they were expected to be.
I was actually pretty disappointed when I first purchased my PSP, but I've slowly grown to enjoy it for what it is. It's still not perfect though.
