I have version 1.0 of the media manager. There is a later one out now. Version 1.0 can be flakey at times. I find that checking my RSS feeds for new content can take a very long time if I let the app do it automatically, but if I check them manually, it is quite fast.
It does have a nice feature to optimize video podcasts for PSP so that you get smaller file sizes.
I can't speak for the later version but I'd hold off on getting 1.0. The app is intended to run in the background and collect feeds throughout the day, only it does seem to have memory issues. I find that if I leave it running, my PC can start to crawl. Maybe this has been fixed in the later version.

Do you need the media manager?
For windows xp for psp media manger update 2.0B...If you are new to Windows Vista Buy the new version of the manger.I love this software...but psp m.manger 2.0 will not work with Vista since I bought this new E machine..w\Vista I will buy the update online line for$17.00 on Sony's web site.Free download for version 3.0 with PSN Online sony store....:arrow:UPDATE..
Now Sony has new software called "Media Go" that replaces the Media Manger for PSP 3.0..Media Go was released by Sony Free during E3 this June..Updates and Downloads are more faster this time around..but Sony is not done with the software yet..still new and will be improved along the way.
