Thanks, but I've heard reports of covers slipping off of the new psp and that it is poorly built. Is this true?carddude
Wrong, rumor spread by a person who can't afford one. Read the Gamespot review of it, I mean...who are you going to believe ..some "rumor" by a random dude...or gamespot who put the thing to the test?
I don't know if they mean a review because I don't know if there is that but there was a hands-on around the beginning of Sept. Also on IGN also there was one of those. I think it might be in the features part near the top of the page.
I like your avatar- it gives special emphasis to your questions!
I had bought my Ds about a year ago at costco and it came with a bunch of stuff including a screen protector which after about a week was totally scratched up so i bought some of the Hori ones. 6 monthsand manyof playing EBA and Ouendan later they still looked pretty good so i'd suggest the Hori brand for the PSP as well.
Most places like best Buy offer replacement type warranties so you could ask therewhat the deal is if you get the bundle like do you return just the psp and get a new one and keep the memory stick (which you'd need to especially) and the game etc... also do you have to wait until the sony warranty runs out for the 2 year extended warranty to kick in or what...sorry i don't know this stuff...i usually just figure if something is screwed up in the first 90 days i'll take it back to walmart or target. That is i don't usually get the extended warranties...I'm not sure if sony gives a 1 year warranty like nintendo does with the DS.
I recommend getting a homebrew enabled psp, Google "homebrew psp"
with a homebrew psp you can do sooo much, i suggesting reading up more on psp homebrew. It made my psp so much more fun, without homebrew i wouldnt be playing it today.
