Why would anybody want to actually keep marvel alliance or naruto
If the new features on the PSP slim arent really worth the extra money, then I'll go with the phat I geuss. The God of War pack seems pointless if the slim PSP is not worth the money. kholdstare61
Unless you plan on using your PSP on your TV, then it's really pointless to spend the extra cash.

Um, the 3 games are basically free...
Fine but what are you going to do after you beat those games that it comes withnintendo4ever25
I dont even think I'm gonna even play those games it comes with. I'll probably buy some new games with the money I save from buying the phat like Burnout Legends, GTA VCS, Tekken, and Wipeout (not sure which Wipeout to get though)
is the fat is in good condition get it fast. For one, it feels alot better in the hands (slim is harder to grip and a little more akward to feel (although it feels like a nice chang at first, many will agree the thickness feels better). The fat is cheaper, and your getting alot with it. Markvel ultimate allaince is a pretty cool game. The phat compared to the slim feels more expensive and not a cheap toy like the slim.
-Although spending an extra 130 bucks will get you a new psp that is lighter and slimmer and has tv input ports, its not worth it. I say get the phat psp and keep the extra money
Slim is slimer, obiously, and has the UMD Cache feature, which makes game load faster. The internet is also considerably faster, considering the Slim has double the internal memory of the phat.
I'd say go with the Slim, especially since GOW is better than all those three games combined. Also, the PSP is read, which is a bonus, and comes with the Superbad UMD.
On the slim: UMD cache, more memory (faster internet and game loading times), and tv output
on the 'phat': cheaper, slower internet, slower game loading
I'd always go for the newer model - whatever the difference in price - why do you think Sony brought out the slim?

Nobody is making you buy anything, that is your own choice.
But OP, as I said, go for the Slim. Especially if it's the God of War Slim, which is beautiful.

um....they could buy new games with the $ they save. If i had the option to get a psp fat (that was in decent shape) for $70 i would do it. usually a used PSP fat costs like 130 around here. I figured $40 extra for a lighter new unit was worth it. But $100? not sure about that.
does anyone actually have BOTH a fat and a slim? is the difference THAT big? I have a slim, and i've seen the fats. the slim doesnt have an IR port, an Eject button, or a removable analog stick. its alot lighter and more flimsy, and they say the memory is better (but i sorta doubt it really makes a Huge difference).

I beg to differ.
me too. kratos is not beautiful so the console is not beautiful. still get it though maybe get an all red cover off the internet to replace Kratos's face.Blazevoir
Haha, who would do that? Kratos is badass, just like the PSP.
I would go wit the Phat PSP becuz its more durable & doesnt feel cheap & the new features of the slim arent that great
Or if you got the money get both, thats what i plan on doing currently i got a PSP Phat & my sister has the PSP Slim
Bottomline PSP Phat or PSP Slim go with the Phat PSP

The PSP Phat is actually about the same durability as the Slim, minus the UMD slot. And faster loading times is a fairly important new feature, unless you have time or something.
Oh, and your font and avatar annoy me. Just thought I'd let you know.

Well i dont think the Slim FEELs Like its durable compared to the Phat one
Oh, and good :P
Slim's Advantages
TV-out - watch tv, whooo!.
More Ram - faster loading times
Battery Capacity - longer battery life
Better Controls - DPad is slightly higher
Lighter - ofcourse it won't strain your wrist
Skype - PSP phone
Sounds Better - Speakers have been moved
Go Messenger - internet chat
Update Reliability - better chance of new firmware compatibility
Newer Accessories - also has a better chance of new accessory compatibility
Phat's Advantages
More Durable - if you like using it as a hammer
Solid Memory - memory looks(just visually) less flimsy
Cheaper - ofcourse its cheap, its old.
Nothing else - And basically the opposite of what Slim has
In the end, it's the buyers decision. Make a better choice so you don't have to look back.
