Whenever I connect my PSP to a computer, my screen says "connect a USB cable", which I do, and then it says "Please Wait", but it never connects. i have left it plugged in for hours and it will not connect. I have also tried other computers. Someone please help; it's driving me crazy.

LOL, I did the same thing, it took me a while to figure it out. What it was is that the connector was't pluged in all the way, Try pushing the connector in more.

Do you have anything else plugged into another USB port? When that happened to me it was because the settings on my computer where messed up and my two USB ports were getting mixed up when I had two devices plugged in at the same time. I unplugged the first and solved the problem.

well, dont forget, once you put the usb cable in your computer and PSP it doesnt automatically connect. You have to go to "settings" on your PSP and then click the "USB connection" option. Then go to "my computer" and open it up.
