psp - ps3 problem

I wasnt sure whether to post this hear or in the ps3 section, but here goes. Ive just got my newpsp slim, and ive been hooking it up etc to internet and ps3, but i have a problem with remote play already. ive read thatthe latest updates enable you to play your ps1 games through the ps3, but everytime i go to do it, itmakes the ps3 bleep a few times, then turn off. i can however access the ps3 xmb andall the media onmy actual ps3 via psp... just not play the games. Is there any particular steps i need to make this work? or what?

Thats very odd. Once you click on the disc icon (or preferred PSone download), it should just start playing automatically.

You probably already did this, but you need the new firmware for both the PSP and the PS3 to do remote play PS1 games on PSP.

What GB PS3 model do you have?
