Could anyone tell me if its a good idea to buy a PSP in Canada when I live in Ireland because its cheaper?

I'm wondering if I'l be able to play games i buy in Ireland on it?

Will i have trouble updating my software for my PSP?

Will There be problems using the WI-FI connection?

Will UMD movies from Ireland not be able to play on it?

Please help

I'm going to Canada soon

Only problem I can think of is that UMD movies from Europe won't work with a Canadian PSP.

You should be fine. I imported my PSP from Japan and have a couple of games I bought from America, alongside all the games I bought in the UK. I don't know about UMD movies, but as far as games go they should all work fine.

bobbyistheman

You might have trouble updating the firmware because the US PSP website says that you shouldn't you use the update if your PSP was purchased outside of North America.

I guess you could just use the North American website to update your PSP when in you're in Europe.

The only thing that won't work is UMD movies. You can still download them and watch them.
