PSP Slim even exist in store?

Where do i get a PSP Slim besides Amazon, no other site has it availbe for pre-order. Best-Buy,Future Shop,EB Games,Game-Stop, non of them have the PSP Slim availible for pre-order or even on the coming soon list or the up and coming pages NOTHING.

Where might i ask am i to purchase one as the release date is under a week away why on earth have they not posted anything, even in-store theres no signs or displays for them, no adds zip all. When the NDS Lite released it was everywhere weeks ahead of time, why isin't the PSP Slim the same?

they want to keep selling the current models up until the slim is released. most places dont act like they know what you're takling about but have the new daxter pack in the stock room.B-bad

Yupp. I just went to EB and one guy told me "He doesn't know what it is" and the other guy told me they were getting them on the relase date :P

Edit: Best Buy has the Daxter only for pre-order on their site.

I called an EB games in Edmonton and the guy says "he has no clue" when they are coming. Obviously other EB stores all over Canada are selling them already so they are most likely give us the run-around so they can hopefully blow out some of the older PSP-1000 stock.DoriftoKing

The Downtown City Centre mall EB games? Because I went in there and Asked if they knew when they were getting it in, and the female clerk said "The Slims are not being released until November according to our Sony rep" I looked behind her and there was theIce Silver Daxter pack! I asked her and she tryed to tell me that that was a reguler PSP just Silver and a Bundle? What Gives do EB games not hire inteligent informed Gamers or what?

I don't know for sure if they are in stock at the GameStop I work at (currently on vacation) but considering that amazon.com is preordering not selling it, I have a couple thoughts on the situation.

1. The system is street dated. And those GameStop/EBGames are selling them without knowing it.

2. The system is in short supply. So not all 3600 GS/EB stores across North America aren't getting them all the same day. High volume stores and stores that sell more PSP product are probaly getting them first.

Yes. I went to the EB down by Costco and they had at least four on the shelf behind the counter.

u dont have to pre-order. i really doubt that people will be lining up for psp slims because no one knows about them...unless sony makes advertisements or tv commercials..
