psp slim or phat?

well i was gonna get a slim one but my friend said it was a "noobversion" cause he was saying like that the microprecessor is 32bit and the phat ones 64 and that well.. uhm its not rly allowed to say.. homebrew.. -.-

get the slim it is faster. lighter and looks better

if you want the slower version get the fat one

if you never had a PSP then the slim model is the best buy

better internal memory with umd caching (improves load times),

Lighter & rounder edges makes for a great feel,

improved controls the face button and d-pad have been raised ,nub also feels better,

better screen while it maybe the same size the new screen is brighter and more crisp

Silver model (daxter bundle) is smug resistant or atleast they dont show as much.

Video Out for movies and games (component cables and progressive scan tv required) on your tv.

For a few bucks more, if you wanted to see your PSP screen go on a bigger screen - sure.

I won't even bother with that though, just like the GBA Gamecube adapter, I find it quite useless.

The Slim's a small leap over the Phat - games really do load faster; plus, you can play your games on a TV! How cool is that? :D

However, a note of advice - if you're really anal about fingerprints and all, don't get the Piano Black version. Your PSP will look like hell after half an hour. ;)

Weaker battery???

If you compared the two batteries you would see that the slim is only rated at 1200mAh versus the old battery at (i think) 1800-1900mAh
