Does this work with video games? Someone told me it only works with HD TV or something weird like that. Whoever owns it can you tell me the results you get out of it and what's it like and stuff. thanks

It works with all TV that got an video/audio input.

If you can plug a Xbox on your TV you can plug the PSP.

I never understand why people don't google before asking stuff

/facepalm

why google when you can get confirmed information from the people that buy the stuff and have an opinion on it? You're more likely to get a honest answer to people who reply back to someones question.

he's actually wrong, dead wrong at that. You need to have a TV that supports 480p and has component jacks in the back. If you get the AV cords, they'll only let you play videos/music, etc. Get the component set.

TV output PSP XMB on TV via output adapter.PSP XMB on TV via output adapter.

Sony has added a TV output for the PSP Slim available through Firmware 3.60. The PSP can output in a conventional aspect ratio (4:3), and widescreen (16:9). It also offers a screensaver if the PSP is inactive for a set amount of time. It is able to output games, videos, and other media. To achieve TV output on the Slim model, Composite, S-Video, Component and D-Terminal cables are sold separately by Sony. Games are output as a progressive scan signal, which can only be carried by the component video and D-Terminal cables, and can only be displayed on a television which supports progressive scan. The maximum resolution through TV output is 640x480 pixels, and composite video uses NTSC color encoding (no PAL composite signal is available). The old Playstation Portable (PSP-1000) is not capable of this feature due to a slightly different port. As a result, original PSP accessories (using the connector) will not work with the Slim and the Slim's accessories will not work with the original PSP.

The point?

To discuss stuff, like how much you liked that game, etc, etc.

Not really to ask obvious answers that have been answered 5 times the same day...

exactly why he said you were dead wrong on that

you said that you can game with a psp on the same tv you can hook an xbox on --> but you can't play your games on the standard RGP composite cables, you can only watch movies and listen to music.

you need that progressive sh1t in component (HDTV) or DT cables

past that, you still need to get around the borders if your tv doesn't support auto-upscaling

Not everything can be googled, and they call these "discussion" forums for a reason. I'll let you figure out the rest.
