Its has 64mb of ram as opposed to 32mb...fast loading times with games and the internet. It feels more solid to me to not as breakable (Not sure though havn't droped it yet *knocks on wood*)
Yah basically what everyone else said. The original might be a better fit if your hands are bigger though. Also I would say that the original is more durable, i have had mine for 2 years, dropped it countless times on both floor, concrete, etc, and it still works.

Yorro said that the battery life is more on the Slim. The capacity of the PSP slim battery is actually less than on the PSP phat, but due to more efficient power management on the slim, both versions last for the same length of time.

How about some facts. The slim has less battery. You need to buy an old phat battery to get the 8-10 hrs. The D pad is the same. Saying it's better is an opinion. The speakers have just been moved, doesn't mean it sounds better. Internet chat is available on the phat as well. The firmware is just different, there is no"better chance for updates nonsense". Same goes for accessories. They will both break if you drop them. Solid memory? FTW?
