Dude, the wirelss internet "Receiver" is built into every PSP ever made, it's not some sort of add-on.

Yeah stick to that dudes statement. But make sure you have wireless router - without WEP password if you don't looking for path of the one who sits 24/7, smashig his head against psp wasting his life trying to figure out why his psp internet doesn't work.

Tip about Extention pack - don't bother. All it gives you is 1gb memory card and 1 old crap movie and boring atv game. 1gb is all you need, but i suggest you to buy a 2gb or more if you look forward to have the movie theater playing on your psp.

Yah the Wireless Reciever is built into your PSP but you have to have a wireless Lan or Router in your house to use it.

I just got my PSP today, and I was wondering why it wouldn't connect to my network. Is there a way to do it without turning off WEP encryption?

It does not, however, have some magical ability to connect to the internet from "anywhere"; it is a WiFi client able to connect via wireless routers or hotspots and you must be in range of these devices. And using wireless devices on an airplane once the outer door is closed is a violation of FAA regulations and can get you fined.

well wireless internet already is on the psp, you just need to turn the WLAN thing. then find a connection, like if you have linkseys. then you can get on the internet from there.

Does the original firmware version included in a new, non-upgraded PSP offer an Internet browser? If I remember correctly, on the version I purchased that was included in one of the updates I had downloaded from my computer, rather than being in the default packaging.
