I have no idea what's happening.... I didn't use my PSP for weeks, and now, when I tried to turn it on, nothing happened! What's this about? Some help would greatly be appreciated.

Ok thanks! That worked. I didn't know the batteries could run out even if the PSP is turned off. Thanks a lot :D

The battery shouldn't have died if the PSP was actually off. My guess is that you aren't turning it off correctly. You have to hold the power switch for about 5 seconds to actually turn off the PSP. Hopefully you knew this, though. ;)

the battery can drain without being on.  When i first got mine, i charged it, watched Spiderman 2 on it, then didn't use it again for like 2 months.  i tried to turn it on, and it was drained.  it can happen.

the battery drains whether the system is on or off the only difference is the rate at which it drains. This is true for all types of rechargeable batteries, also if you dont charge the battery for long periods of time you take the risk of the battery no longer holding a charge at all.

ROFL you owned yourself hardcore. For future referance all batterys waste energy Connected to any device. it's not alot but over time adds up.
