Purchased some games last night...

man its been awhile since ive purchased anything new so i splurged lol.

god of war 3

battlefield bad company 2

heavy rain

tekken 6

avp

and i must say i tried them all for like 10 mins each just to get a feel of them and holy s***

god of war = amazing

heavy rain = amazing

bad company 2 = amazing

tekken = ok

avp = kinda junk

only thing playing now though is gow 3 then moving on to battlefield and so on, what do you think of gow3? ive never played the previous installments and didnt want to jump right to 3 but alot of ppl here were saying how awesome it is so i had to check it out.

i dont know about tekken its flowing somewhat ok but i just cannot feel for avp like i find it terrible i shouldve just got 10 the show, sigh.

If you are interested in the first 2 GoW games (and trust me, they are amazing), i would really recommend buying the PS3 collection disc. Its only $20-30 and has the first 2 games mastered in HD and all that good stuff.

If you just go on with #3, you probably will be a bit lost as far as the story goes unless you read up on everything that happened in the first 2 games, then again, it is just god of war so the plot never mattered that much, IMO.

Yeah i think im going to save that purchase for later as im getting into it id like to know what happened in the previous titles. didnt know they upped it to hd, awesome.

Yeah, return/trade in Tekken and AvP and grab Final Fantasy XIII. Then your March is complete.

god of war = amazing I have it but have not had the time to play it.

heavy rain = amazing Great game

bad company 2 = amazing Great story but multiplayer is extremely low paced

tekken = ok Have not played

avp = kinda junk Ya probably

Nope i haven't i played the second title for ps2 like maybe 10 minutes thats all i just got done playing 3 now i'm a bit past aphrodite.

and tekken is not that bad of fighter either man, i like it. more of a mortal kombat kinda dude but DC was garbage in my opinion...

hopefuly the next installment will be better.

Considering you got three fantastic titles you've got nothing to worry about good choices. It's nice to have diversity, even if it is diversity in quality, it helps you appreciate the more masterful titles.

From someone who thoroughly enjoyed almost all of the 3D fighters last gen (SC2, VF4Evo, Tekken 5; SC3 and Tekken 4 sucked ass), I'm not feeling it from their current iterations. I'd recommend SFIV and Blazblue for fighters this gen.

yeah im not gonna lie, i was pretty hyped up lol.

I know the feeling, I picked up God of War 3 just to see what it was like (never played God of War before) holy crap, most intense opening to any game I've ever played...so I went and picked up the collection and started that yesterday. I had also picked up Heavy Rain and didn't get a chance to start it until last night. overload of awesome. I also picked up Lunar for the PSP and both the new Pokemon games aha I usually never buy games when they first come out, but there;s just been so many good ones.HybridPhoenix

first of all i must say this......

Battlefield...amazing game like i said before but WAY too short holy s***, pretty much was pissed off....noticing this "trend" or w/e it is for shooters now to be absolutely short and just focusing on multiplayer, i dont think thats fair. because i can care less about multiplayer its alright to play it every now and then but a man like me with a family i just cant play single player then on to multi right after you know? but then again i like stories lol so yeah, dissapointing. i give it an 8.4.

god of war 3.....gets a 9.5 i dont even think i can express anymore words for this game ill just leave it at that score and leave it alone its just that good i really enjoyed it, it would have been 10 imo if the ending didnt happen the way it did but i will not say anymore for those who didnt play it.
