Putting Flash Games On Your PSP (A Guide)

I'm about 99% that this is perfectly legal since it's free to play them on the original websites, so here goes. (Note: this does NOT pose any threat to your psp's safety, no bricking, don't worry)

1) Download the Mozilla Firefox web browser (this is necessary, not preferable).

2) On the browser, find the page containing the flash game, that is, the page you would normally play the flash game from on your computer. Some good sites are newgrounds.com and addictinggames.com.

3) Click on FILE, then SAVE PAGE AS.

4) Look on the desktop (for macs) or your download folder (for pc's), you will find a folder containing many files from the webpage.

5) Locate the file that has .swf at the end of its name.

6) Rename the file to whatever you want the game to be called.

7) Plug in PSP and navigate into the PSP folder, then the COMMON folder.

8 ) Drag the file into the COMMON folder.

9) Safely remove your PSP.

10) Open your psp internet browser (you do not need an internet connect to run the following operations, simply the browser).

11) Open the address option, choose the lower left type box that has "http://" on it, keep clicking until you've selected "file:/".

12) Type psp/ then common/ then the name of your flash file with .swf at the end.

13) A completed address should look something like this. file:/psp/common/fallingsand.swf

14) Once the page has opened on your psp, select the BOOKMARKS option from the menu bar.

15) Add the page to your bookmarks (if you are nitpicky, edit the bookmark so that it reads the game's name instead of the address)

16) Go into your BOOKMARK menu anywhere, anytime, with no internet connection, and run the flash game you have installed! Cheers!

Hope this helps, or simply informs! (this may seem like a very long process, however, in actuality, the whole transaction takes about one minute tops, if you are fast at psp typing that is 8))

NOTE: Make sure that you have the psp flash player enabled in your preferences, if this is not done, you WILL get the "content cannot be displayed" message.

Cool, I knew about the flash games but I didn't know you could save any flash game through FireFox, I used to search ages for downloadable ones. Thanks for the info.

I found a couple .swf things and i put them in and they are all ads. Im trying indiana jones and alien hominid from newgrounds.halofreak122

the closest i get is a 2.something mb file fore a bike game on newgrounds ending with shockwave flash objectyp_yo
