You can buy a subscription or just by each indivdual episode. At first it seemed like a bad idea to me. I think if it is actually worth the price tag i might consider getting a subscription.

ill get it if i have the money and its also very cheapI'll probally buy a few episodes and see if I like it. It's only $25 a year and $3 per episode. But I dont know how much content is gonna be included or what. Plus I dont know if I am gonna like this mandatory advertisments that last like 15secs with no skipping.
they say that there will be "access to beta's, game add-ons, etc etc." What I wanna know is will the 2.99 give you the add on ... or does it only give you ACCESS to the add-ons, i mean add-ons (like Call of Duty Map Pack) and certain beta-priveleges (like LBP beta) for 2.99 would be awesome. There's plenty of things I actually want to get off the PS Store, I just dont want to use my credit card (trust issues), so im just waiting (and waiting and waiting) for the PSN Cards to be released.

This is the bridge people. Will Playstation 3 owners mindlessly shell out $24.99 per year for a glorified podcast and access to a few pointless betas? What's next? $1.50 furniture in Home? $5.00 to use the theater function for a month in Home?
I will be protesting this by keeping my wallet closed.

We don't even need to dish out that 24.99, they are just adding new options, they aren't making you pay.
I mean we pay for the games on PSN, if you don't want to buy it then don't. And I'm sure Sony won't put a price on everything, we are still getting the Demos, the gaming additions and stuff, if you want a price tag on everything, 360 is down the road but that's not what you want now is it?
This is a move that I think we could only have expected Sony to make. Although we didn't know what it would look like, we knew that they would try to be more like Xbox Live. The real issue with the PS3 is still the game library. If they don't fix that (which it looks like they are going to try and make happen this holiday season) then the PS3 will continue to be a glorified Blu-Ray Player.

I think its awesome, no hassle of running around trying to get into a beta, like me signing up for file shack to get into MGO beta lol. All content in HD, which I love to feed my $3200 tv some good hd content with no quabbles, and as far as demo's, people with the subscription prolly will just get it a little sooner than the free demo section which I don't mind.
All in all I think it is going to be great, if you want it get, if not then just don't and you still game for free on psn so no one is hurt but people who want things in hd, easy access to beta's will have that option aswell.
And as for the game library someone mentioned that is getting old really. Plenty of games, and that person is someone that wouldn't get haze cause of the ratings lol. Well the 360 library has a ton of games with bad ratings in there massive library aswell. So really each system has a issue with the games library cause really there is only 1 on the other system I wouldn't mind playing other than that I would say they got a library issue aswell lol. At the moment I have 11 ps3 games since November of 07 and I still don't have Rfom lol which I hope to pick it up soon :)
My homie was telling me on qore that you beta test Socom Confrontation? is that true? I didn't open the link, just wanted to write really quick because I'm starting to get a little busy.

Listen up folks, 'cause I've got some dirt on the Public Beta for SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Confrontation! We're not quite ready to say when it will come out, but let's just say that it's gonna be a hot summer... better to spend it inside, just in case.
There'll be a couple of ways to get in. One will be through a radically different pre-order program (think 'team') the team is working on with one of our retailer friends. It's currently in planning mode, but I should have some more info soon. Trust me-- all you clan guys are going to love it. Stay tuned.
The second option will be to go through QoreTM: Presented by PLAYSTATION®Network, SCEA's new interactive monthly program. It goes up for purchase and download on the PLAYSTATION®Store on June 5th. Subscribers to Qore will get the opportunity to participate in the Public Beta when it's available, but you can occupy your time watching some of the cool SOCOM behind-the-scenes videos that will come exclusively with Qore.
I see a lot of talk on the forums and comments about how this person or that person is the biggest and baddest SEAL around. Soon, you're going to get a chance to put your money where your mouth is!
