Quantum not looking good...

Have you seen the trailer? The main character, Syd looks like a douchebag with that X on his face. The Locus rip offs explode into snot when they die, as if the PS3's hardware can't handle corpses.

The live tower thing is a decent idea but everything else is... I don't want a crappy Gears rip off embarassing the PS3 library.

That guy with the X on his forehead does look really stupid. So does that dopey oversized armor they're wearing. So does a lot of the gunfire effects. Meh...I'm losing interest in this pretty fast.

I was interested in it when I heard bout the tower being alive. And then I watched the trailer....

I dunno if it's suppose to appeal to the Japanese who've not heard of Gears or what?

bah i knew this was going to suck , the models look awful as hell and the overall production value seems like for a movie tie-in.

Some people say Dante's Inferno is a God of War rip off but I think Dante's Inferno does enough to set itself apart and have a whole image of its own. But this thing is really just a plain rip off. The major difference is they put an X on Marcus Fenix's face so you don't confuse the two and you can throw a girl.

It looks like shooter version of Ninja Gaiden.

Hey it didn't look too bad to me but maybe because I have never played GEOW before. I do agree that the exploding monsters isn't what I want to see either.

I first thought the TC was being dramtic, but after watching the trailer I agree. The should really do the look of the main character he looks like a idiot. The graphics look really dated. What was Temco thinking, why not making Ninja gaiden Sigma 3 instead?

Looks good to me. If it has split-screen multiplayer I might get it.

TC here... I guess there's nothing wrong with being a rip off of any game. I never have a problem with that and that's not an issue for me in Quantum. I'm just not happy with everything else. I've obviously not played the game and make all assumptions based on that trailer and so far, it's not looking too great for me. Let's be honest, some of the exclusives (curse you Lair and Haze) early in the PS3's history just didn't deliver but we've passed that point 'cause now every exclusive seems to shatter expectations. PS3 has been on a roll here with the exclusives and so when I hear the word "PS3 exclusive", I immediately assume it'd be top notch and for that reason I'm especially upset with Quantum. Tecmo has time to polish it up and hopefully make it not suck but I really don't know how much polishing will save this game. Maybe they could polish that X off his face.

When the first trailer surfaced I thought it looked brilliant and a must buy but the more I see the less i'm interested, don't think I'll buy it at all now.

Really? I think Quantum is very interesting and your post is definitely misleading, it states only one fact: Your dislike for the game and not that the game is globally terrible by any means.

I actually have good interest in the game and the E3 09' trailer (watch in HD) shows some promise, I especially enjoy the environment. - Living, breathing tower looks very good, the main hero does seem to show similarity to gear of war however, the other female character is definitely different. Overall the game has Western and Japanese feel to it. ;)

My dislike for the game and not that the game is globally terrible by any means is indeed all I'm stating. Yea, I just mentioned that I'm not completely liking Quantum based on what I've seen so was wondering what were other people's opinions and such, that's kinda all. Hence the "Anyone thought the trailer was good?". I'm not feeling the game yet, but never once stated that it would suck. So, dunno how the topic's misleading.
