Is there any why I can set my PS3 to play my Blu ray movies in 1080i and my games in 720p? Because if I set my PS3 for both wont games that can go in 1080i go in that form instead of 720p? thanks

if u have 1080i and 720P bluray will go to 1080i and the games will be 720P. so yeah, u dont need to do anything.

no, you have to set them back. if your game is 720p and 1080i is on, the game will be displayed in 1080i...

wen u have both on it always goes down to 720P for games but stays 1080i for anything involving the XMB menu(movies, photos etc.)

maybe it depends on what resolutions the game supports.
