I just recently bought my 60 gig pS3 and i am LOVING it.
anyways, my friend got his at launch but the 20 gig and his router is on the 2nd floor of his house while his ps3 is on the 1st. Is there any way he can play Resistance online with me since he cant hook up with an ethernet? like buy a USB attachment or something?

couple choices, 1 is harder, you gotta route a line up to his room. 2nd is you can by a wireless adapter for it and if you have a wireless router, you can connect that way

You can buy a wirless USB adapter for as little as $40 if his router is wireless. If not, $90 ( $40 usb adap. and $50 wireless router).

your friend can do what i did and buy the linksys wireless gaming adapter. Pricey but works well and i never lose signal (well it is in the same household lol). The adapter is wireless and it has a ethernet port coming out into the ps3.

to be honest though, its always best to run a hard line if possible, always a better, faster connection when it comes down to it, and you dont lose the signal like wireless

You can get a Wi-Fi adapter for your PS3. The price ranges from $20 to $100, depending on the brand you buy. The cheaper one you can find is sufficient.
