Hello everyone :D i got one question for you. I have a 60gb ps3 (PAL) and i was wondering if i can play MGS3 AND God of war on it. the reasson i come here is becuase i went to the BC site ( http://faq.eu.playstation.com/bc/bcGames.htm ) but the last update there was since 1.80 (firmware).so can you please tell me? i wanna get mgs3 again ( i dont have my old copy anymore ) and gow2 ( i never got to play it )and i dont have my ps2 anymore :(well thanks

Try and see if it plays.

If it doesn't it will just say "Unsupported" or somthing like that.

I would think it works, but I don't have a PAL version :(

Sorry I can't be more help...do you know anybody with a copy of either one of those games?

mgs3 snake eater will work, 100%, I have tried it myself, as for god of war, not sure, played it on ps2 but didnt get a chance to play it on my ps3 coz my brother lost the disc, but yea, mgs3 snake eater will work...

I have a new zealand version of 60 gig ps3 which is pal version, so I bet it would work, now go and get mgs3 snake eater, bloody good game

Just my 2 cents. I have a 60GB PAL PS3 and both MGS3 snake eater (non subsitence) and God of War 2 and both work on my system.

So I bet they'll work on yours too. ;)

I have both, God of War 1, 2 and MGS 3 Snake Eater. Both work on my 60GB PS3. Make sure you already downloaded PS2 files from PSN network.

I have God of War 1 & 2, Metal Gear 3, SOCOM 2 & 3, and Resident Evil 4 and everything works just fine.

I've got a UK 60GB PS3. GoW 1 & 2 and MGS3: Subsistence all work fine.
