I have Final fantasy Tactics Advance for GBA, and though I never got around to beating it, I enjoyed it greatly. Now I am considering getting War Of The Lions, the PSP FF: Tactics remake. But I want to know if it's really worth it to purchase it when I already own FF: Tactics Advance. What other new content is in the PSP version of this game, other than the amazing looking cell shaded cutscenes?JesusFreak1990
War of the Lions is a remake of the original FFT from the PS1. Tactics Advance is a completely different story, though it shares the same gameplay as the original. If you liked Tactics Advance, pick up War of the Lions.

Oh, ok! I didn't know FF: Tactics Advance had a different story, I never even played the PS1 original, thanks for the info! Now I'm sure I'm going to get this game! :DActually there are numerous small differences that seperate War of the Lions from the GB titles. Namely the fact that there are no rules or judges or anything of that matter. War of the Lions also basically forces you to have lots of seperate saves since it's very easy to get backed into an impossible to win corner. One of my favorite games but sometimes a bit frustrating due to the last one.
War of the lions is so much better than the FFT advance. has a better story line without the restrictions of judges that make the game so much better. THe laws restrict so many of the good abilities that it almost is not fun.
War of the Lions > Any Tactics game to date. You're in for a real treat.siLVURcross
Agree 100%. It's probably the best PS1 game I ever played, and it's definitely in the top 3 of PSP games I've played overall. Great game. So much to do and it's very addicting. Well worth the price tag.
FF Tactics Lions is the best one and the storyline is mature, which is what I love about it, unlike the chesseball kiddy storyline of the Advance series. But FF Tactics Lions is way slower, which gets tedious. But if you can endure that, it's a rewarding and addictive game.
As for additional content, I think Baltheir from FFXII is in it, and a couple of new classes, but that's about it. Other stuff is just multiplayer and new items, weapons, etc.
