Can you run folding at home while playing a game or listening to songs stored on your HDD at the same time?

No, it sucks up the brainpower of the unit. Most folks run it while idle.

I think folding@home is a waste of power on the PS3. I mean it's good that Sony wants to help the world, but did we really buy the PS3 for anyone other than ourself?
