Do you have to play GoW 1 and 2 to understand the story in GoW CO? Where does GoW CO PSP stand in the storyline?

I'm pretty sure, being that it is a prequel, you'll be fine if you haven't played the first two.

Yes it takes place before God of War I, and I've only played 2 so i'm good to go for now. Still gotta check out the first one though!

NO you don't have to go back and play the other 2 GoW games to understand the PSP GoW, you pick it up and play and enjoy itNP
