I have gotton all of the shards but 12. I played through as a hero so during the shard missions where I could of jacked them i let the person keep them. Will this stop me from finding all of the shards.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me too. Im 15 short. I should have stolen the shards from those stupid people those 2 times. I think your gonna have to do it again. But hey, you can play it again as a bad guy now and get them for sure.

Im in the process of doing that lol. Another weird thing is that when I save my new file it says that im 72 percent done. I don't know what to make of this because my hero file is 82 percent completed.

I don't think the shards you can voluntarily give up count towards your total. If they did, the 100% shards trophy would be impossible for those playing on good karma.

It only counts the ones that are laying around the city. The ones you get as rewards from side missions don't count.

That's right, the side mission shards don't count. Neon District has 147, The Warren has 135, and Historic District has 68.

Side mission shards dont count towards your 350, only those scattered around the map... there are some maps with all the shards shown but usually a few are missed out. http://img46.imageshack.us/i/shardsmap.png/ helped me get my last 12. go around each point and mark it off by putting yellow dot over the blue one.. it might take some time but it helps.... my last infamous trophy was Dr. cole :S

It took me at least 3-4 hours of searching to find the last inFamous shard. I drew a map of the entire city and started searching all areas while crossing off searched areas on my hand-drawn map.

Anytime you have to search for an object in most games, its a good idea to make a grid, start at a corner and walk the grid from one corner to the other, then move to the next square. The last one is always a pain :) Just keep at it though! I had a buddy put a piece of paper up on the screen and just put marks through the sections that he's been through so he didn't have to draw so much. Whatever it takes though.
