So I've got AT&T DSL for my internet provider, and that isn't going to change because of where I live. I've heard that people say that the PS3 and AT&T internet aren't compatible, or don't work together well to say the least. Is this true? I'm planning on using a wireless connection and would like to know because I hate having to re-adjust my router settings and stuff. Some help here please? :?

I remember seeing AT&T on a list of like "ISPs to avoid" for the Wii, so I assume the same would go for the PS3.

You should still try it though, I think it should work at least.

Thanks for the answers. I was debating getting a 360 because of that Walmart deal tomorrow but now I think I'll stick with my plan to get a PS3.

I'm not sure if this helps, but my PS3 is the slowest when it comes to the internet connection. Not trying to start a flame war or anything, but just saying. My house has a desktop running XP, a laptop running XP/Vista/Win 7, and an Apple OS 10.6, along with a PS3, and the PS3 comes in last as far as download speeds are corncerned even with the others turned off, on a comcast connection. Could be that some people with their PS3 are placing the blame on on their ISP (AT&T) when should be placing the blame on the the PS3.

There's a noticeable boost when the others are off, but none the less......

I love the PS3 but that is the one (and maybe only) thing that bothers me about it.

edit: edited for english corrections. Not sure what my problem is today....
