i whana get a bigger hard drive for my ps3 but i heard that you loose your game saves is their a way to get it back once i instal my new drive

There is a way to back up the data of the HDD that is already in there, you just need a USB storage device and when you put in the new HDD, the data from your old one will be transferred to the new one. Read the manual for your PS3.
