Question about the different "NAT" types

I've seen a topic about this, but I could no longer find it.

How can I get my NAT type down to 2, I have 3. I remember one time I used to have 2, but not anymore. I looked in the online guide, but couldn't find anything. I searched my wireless settings on the computer, but same thing.

Could someone help me or give me tips.

you could also try to just set your PS3 into DMZ on your router, that basically eliminates port forwarding as it puts the device infront of the firewall for automatic unrestricted accessdstryr13

This should get you NAT 1 as well, which is even better.

not necessarily true, i was NAT 2 put my PS3 in DMZ and am still NAT 2 but everything works a little faster

Nat 1 is basically set as direct wired connection
