Question about trading games for PS3

You'll probably more make money on ebay than trading games in at EB. Most games only get you around $5 or less. Every once in a while they have a deal where you get a discount for trading in a used system or games for a PS3, but other than that you're probably better off just keeping the games.babystapler

you have to be buying the PS3 at that moment for that deal to be effective

i think it is something like trade 10 games get a PS3 for $399
i dont really know though

i know for sure that if you trade 5 games (any system) you get what the games are worth plus an extra 30% credit

if you take a system in you get an extra 20% credit for that

but you might have to walk out and walk back in with the PS2 cuz they will probably tell you that you cannot use the 2 offers at the same time

I might take my PS2 and 10 games.. I should get a good deal with that I hope. cuz I hope for atleast 3 games and possibly a controller. Should I get the controller, my borthers wont be living with me.La_Vendetta

As always with all consoles, its always important to have at least 2 controllers incase that extra companion wants to game.

Dude, plzdont trade any of your PS2 games in and do not sell them anywhere - you will want to play em on your PS3 later on.....I dont think you're gonna make any money worth for trading in - best to keep em.

From my experience, Ebay is the way to go. I've bought a number of used games from gamestop.com and sold them for more than what I paid.

I'm gonna trade in 10 games for a deal. 10 games that I have beaten and..kinda dont like anymore. the only games i really need from the ps2 are:

Fifa 07, GTA Vice City, Juiced, NFSU 2, Ace Combat

Those are really the only games i play nowadays.
