I heard about this game and want to buy this game but I am nervous about the freezing that has occured. Has anyone one here experienced it and is it in single player or online, or both? I love the wipeout games to death but I dont want to buy it if it is unplayable. Thanks

What I heard is that it is a problem related to the size of your friend list, if you have a FL bigger than 50 person than you'll have problem, otherwise I don't have any problem, the game is perfect

iv had the game since release and it has not frozen up on me yet.
iv heard about the problem being friend related but i doubt it, the majority of people iv seen who have had problems installed the large file for wipeout first and the small file second.
i did it the other way round small file first then the main download.
The game is awesome but it froze on me. The single player was fine until I went online and it froze on me. I didnt try it again but I will have to try it again later. I only have 47 friends on my list.

The way i fix it is to sign out of psn... but that disables all online features of the game:(
