Ok so I have a ps3 and hate wireless gaming with it. I stay awayfrom online console gaming because of this. So, is there ANY way to get a wired connection without a direct ethernet port from the wall? Can a PC ethernet port be used to obtain internet, even if the PC is getting it wirelessly? Or is there some kind of converter to work with a cable port or a phone line? I just don't have ethernet in my room and would like wired somehow.

Just get a really long ethernet cable? I have one running through 3 rooms so that I can use it with the laptop on the kitchen table. I don't believe in wireless.

I have no trouble with wire less but I did see something a few days ago about a set of devices that can use the in home power lines as a way of haveing a wired network.
