Question about YLOD/Corrupted files

I haven't got the YLOD or any corrupted files but I was just wondering what would happen if you bought your entire collection of games through PSN and downloaded them all and your hard drive was corrupted or something like that, is there any guarantees that you will get your games back? I don't mean game saves or anything but the games themselves, can you re-download the same games for free?

Well I got YLOD about 5 months ago so I purchased a new PS3. About a month ago I just went on my download history and simply clicked on the games I had bought. Warhawk and some other PS1 games. They then just downloaded. Im pritty sure everything just stays with your account rather than on your HDD.

That's pretty cool, it's just one of the concerns I had about digital distribution. I know this isn't a Wii message board but damn that must suck for Wii owners if their memory gets corrupted on downloaded games
