I'm curious to know how responsive or sensitive the SIXAXIS is? Like if there were games like a fooseball, darts or air hockey in Home, could that really work? I don't have a PS3 so I cant test for myself

It's very good. For the super rub a dub game you have to tilt all angles and the accuracy and sensitivity surprised me. It's defintley better than some tacked on after thought like some people might think it is.310792
Cool! But does it respond to side to side and up down movements? Or just tilts?

Having movement detection would require an IR bar, and seeing how design-centric Sony seem to be, I don't think they would have ever of even thought about including movement. So, tilt it is, but it's still great.
Whats more, because it isn't always needed for a game, rare moments in Resistance where you actually need to use it seem a (for use of a better word) treat.
SIXAXIS = six degrees of movement; tilt left, right, up, down, forward, backward. No sliding around, that's what the analog sticks are for.WalterPeckyes but what if it free's the analog for another movement exsample a tank tilt be used to control the gun the analog use to move the tank by that free your other thumb (which normaly used in some games both analog) to push the buttons wich means you can MOVE, AIM, and SHOOT at the same time how awesome is that.

hmm move with right analog stick, aim with left analog stick, fire with R1. Seems to be how most games do it now. I'd say that allows you to do all three.

I'm curious as to how it recognizes the "jump" command in rub-a-dub. Seems to be able to recognize the upward jerk of the controller which would not be tilt.
I wonder at some responses here on this thread. Do some of the people that answered even own a PS3?
Anyways: The Sixaxis registers more than just tilting, it also recognizes movements, as in lifting the controller up or giving it a shove to the side. That's also how the 'jump' command in rub-a-duck is recognized.
Like someone before me stated: in Lair you'll be able to ram into enemies, accallerate or do 180s by flinging the controller the according way. It's no tilt, but it's a motion.
