Lifespan? LMAO! Anyways, I believe you mean "gameplay". Well, the gameplay isn't that long (Speaking for myself). I beat the game in less than 4 days and got it at launch. I played multiplayer like 3 times and didn't really enjoy it much, but you might enjoy it.
It's a tough call on the boredom factor. It will be different for everyone. I've taken steps to make sure I don't get bored for a while. What exactly do I mean? Click the link in my signature.
I've yet to get bored enough to go cold turkey. That wont happen for a while I presume. But you will want to swap in another game or two after you put in about 8 or hrs, just to keep it from getting too boring too soon. If this is the only hit game you have then I expect you'd play it until you can't stand it anymore, wich will take over 40+ hrs.

80 hours lol. Thats how long it took me for single. Never got bored. I played a few rounds online. Tried to find more stuff. And then got a tad bored. So I made a few Youtube GTA movies, and thats been it. Now Im playing "what I now feel is the vary underrated" Haze, and MLB the show some more.
