K can anyone tell me about the quality and bonus features of resevoir dogs, the warriors, and enter the dragon on blu ray? I know that my rocky blu ray does not look much better then the original film just being up converted so should i just save movey by buying the regular dvds and upconvert or is it worth it to buy them on blu ray? please tell me if there are any differences in the special features

It's really only important for the newer titles, the ones that were actually filmed in a high resolution, or were extensively re-mastered to appear Hi-def. So, pretty much only buy new titles on Blu-ray, not re-releases of old titles, unless you've heard from others that they were extensively remastered to tailor to HD.

Try High-Def Digest for both Blu-ray and HD DVD reviews.

Wrong, all wrong. Film is at a higher resolution than these new HD cameras. Older films tend to not look that great as the prints have just sat there over the years. Where as some older movies can look the best they ever have (Casablanca etc).

Oh, really? Interesting. Didn't know that. You learn something new every day.

Alright I'm foing to start by saying that there aren't many extra special features in these films so nothing there more than dvd releases.

Firstly, Resevior Dogs the picture quality is great, even for low budget film and is defintiely worth the upgrade from dvd in my opinion. The sound quality is always a good step up.

Now, now the warriors. Amazingly great great job re-issuing this old cult classic on blu-ray. The picture quality seriously is very vibrant and looks like a recently made movie not one from over 30 years ago. The sound quality is always just great. It's the official directors cut also so the bonuses are plentiful with looking back at the movie

Didn't see Enter the Dragon.

I highly recommend the upgrade for both since they have certainly pleased me. If you only going to score one of the I would say The Warriors hands down. They did a amazing job with that film in my opinion looks and sounds fantasic.

Disagree by personal experience.
